Emgeton Mini One out before M8?

Hi guys. I'm new to these forums, so bear with me. I did a search on this but failed to find anything, so I believe starting a new thread was the right thing to do. I read that the Emgeton Mini One might be out before our M8! The pictures of the phone don't look too shabby either (It's the M8's white shell with "Emgeton" branded all over it). Here's the source:

Check it out! If the final Emgeton Mini One design actually turns out looking like those pictures I might consider buying it >.<. For some reason I find it better looking than the most recently released M8 pictures.

if it's a rebrand of the m8, it's pretty unlikely that it would come out in the Czech Republic before hitting the Chinese domestic market.

Funny how it says:

Notable is the 3.2-inch 720 x 480 VGA TOUCH screen. yes, this baby also plays 30fps movie files and has a 3 megapixel camera to give the fear of God to the iPhone-loving community on Q3. Other specs include Bluetooth and TV out.
So what the heck was the point of posting the news anyways?

Well I just think this old news. If you see on front page emgeton website they do announce to let their phone arrive in stores Q3 of 2008, but that not different what Meizu did promised few months ago.
Now we have see it's might not be sure Meizu can make it release the final M8 within Q3 of this year. If emgeton or even Dane-Elec wants to release the phone…well the source phone simple need to be finished first. So I don’t believe emgeton can keep this date too if either Meizu don’t release the M8 latest in September.
Oh by the way I did found these pictures, they might be old too. don't know

What? And you guys have been waiting for the M8 for a year and a half. If I may say so, I was hoping this is a captive audience for anything unbelievable.

Come on, isn't that title a bit misleading at least? I understand that sensationalism sells and all, but you make it sound like Emgeton are stealing the M8's design. Emgeton is a Meizu partner that sells rebranded Meizu devices, and they posted some (albeit outdated) teaser pictures of the M8, which is just normal if you ask me.

Indeed, we have been waiting the M8 for a long time, and we are eager for news... but that just makes it more annoying to read (what seems to me as) distorted facts.

IMO, good journalism should stick to real news, like the new M8 photos that JW released yesterday, or the ones he promised for August (Here's a shortcut link to a google-translated list of JW's last posts, if it helps)... or, an even better example would be to do some "field work" in the Chinese BBS and gather the public reaction to the latest pictures (for example: what do the Chinese fans think of the 1-button interface suggested by the pictures, compared to the 3-buttons one?).

PS: I know I've been picking on PMP Today since that other time, but don't take this personaly. I'm just disappointed with newsblogs in general these days... for example, I also think that übergizmo posted some misinformation in their article.
