Sorta. The M8 test is going to happen which means there will be a M8.

Yea, but we've seen videos of people using it etc. A working M8 hasn't been seen yet.

But still, they should only show phones which have actually been released because until it is released you can't really say for sure how good it is.

Extremely poor review/match imho: unaccurate, and basic informations are lacking: no systematic mention of niternal memory, memory slots, battery, screen resolution.
While emphasizing the MP count of the camera, one of the less important feature imho.

What do you mean no one has ever seen it? There is a video or a working prototype (kinda buggy) but still working.

He meant like a working model, not a mainboard.

That wasn't a working prototype though 22lambo. It only displayed some pictures nothing else.

It's true that it only displayed pictures, but you can notice that it was running windows to do that (most likely Windows CE, of course) so the hardware should have been near-final.
That makes me think that Meizu's claim about problems with the touch screen, and that they where only able to do a workaround in the bigger version (where they had enough room to change jumpers, etc.) is actually likely to be true.

Nevertheless, what counts is what it could actually do. So I agree that it was no working prototype, no mater how complete the inner hardware really was.

It's not actually launching those applications when they are pressed (music player, phone etc), it is just showing pictures of what they will look like which basically just shows that the thing has a touch screen and little more.

If you want to take the m8 prototype as an indication of how it will be, then it is no wonder why it didn't make it on the list!

And, seriously, give it a few more months and it won't be difficult at all to find several potential "iPhone Killers" that far surpass.

WHERE? Ive heard this a million times over its been over nearly 2+ years and still no "m8 killer" or w/e you want to call it. And besides the iphone theres no other phone that compares..... please prove me wrong by showing a phone that surpass either the m8 or iphone in specs.

Another thing theres a reason why the iphone is so popular its cause they did it RIGHT first and in an all in one package. Everything else just trys............ plain and simple....

First of all, I think you misread my post. I never discussed an "m8 killer"... only an iPhone killer.
Also, you misread again. I said "give it a few more months" and we will see much better phones released.

I also have to disagree with your statement regarding the iPhone, ie. "there is no other phone to compare"... Obviously, if you are just discussing the basic design, I agree... for the moment. Only for the moment though, as I said... wait a few months and there will be plenty. But when you say 'no other phone to compare'; I assume you are not refering to the applications? As there are many non-touchscreen phones out there that far surpass the iPhone for applications/functions.

I have said it before, but I will say it again for your benefit. The iPhone is a lovely piece of kit to look at and the touchscreen is very sensitive. Those are the two key points in its favour, but other than that, it has nothing. It lacks in everything else I would want in a phone and its retail cost is way too high. That is why I'm happy to wait for a better phone to hit the market. Hence my interest in the MiniOne/M8. The wait is nearly over.
