I'm shocked to say that the presence of the iPhone/m8 has completely made me lose interest in these other phones.

Looks like it will have the TouchWiz UI and might have the haptic touchscreen...

But it is only interesting if it gets released in Europe/Germany and not only in Korea!

VGA video on a QVGA screen? It would be a complete overkill....Except if there was a video out, then it can be somwhat useful, but I do not think it is the case.
QVGA killed the samsung for me, I don tnot even read the info on this phone anymore...
Whatever the other advantage, there is no way I buy a smartphone/PDA with a QVGA screen if the screen is larger than 2-2.5 inches. HVGA is needed, and preferably VGA or more if the screen is larger than 3 inches...

Yeah, I read that review on these two phones; and also other reviews.

Both phones have their shortcomings, so decided to continue to wait for the M8. I want a slender/thin phone that does everything that next gen phones do, but more and with better specs. Waiting patiently...

neither the touch or the i900 have the audio quality I'm looking for.
both phones do not have a regular headphone jack and the i900 doesnt have have an EQ..

These might be fine phones but they surely are not fine music players

My Meizu
But does it play my OGG files? I cannot believe that is not widely supported. No license problems, freely available, yet barely supported. OGG for sound is what PNG is for the web (though PNG is coming now that IE7 supports alpha transparency).

Anyway, I won't buy a player or phone (for me nor my wife) that can't play my OGG files. It's why I was so happy with my M6.

I second that.
From the reviews I have read, the audio quality just isn't there on these two phones. The term 'too quiet' is frequently mentioned.
Nope. I'm hanging on for better things.
