Here's what I understand of it:

The registration for testing will start on July 15 through the BBS. This will be conducted in three batches; 20 units the first, 80 the second and 400 the third. The list of testers will be published online.

I'm having some trouble with the last sentence, feel free to add something. Also, what does he mean with "id"? Industrial Design?

Seems promising hopefully we'll be able to see this thing in action its been painfully overdue. On the brightside maybe will actually do some effective debugging so by the time its at its final release it will be nearly practical (flawless?).

I think it means the first and second batch will go to the well known people of the BBS forum. Just my 2 cents.

its basically just saying testing will begin july 15th, getting people to test it, people from the forums, have to be well-known in Chinese meizu BBS.

I really hope there will be any videos from the UI, and examples of image-viewing.

If it is any less than 24bit for images and web I'm out.

From what I understand, the signup will begin on the 15th of July, not the actual testing.

At this rate, I would say christmas period - early next year would be a good estimate of the M8 release date. Either way, something to look forward to.

If this doesn't come out before 2009, then it looks like I will buy an unlocked Iphone. PLEASE Meizu, hurry up!

I think it can get pretty expensive if you're buying it off eBay.

A XChinamenX Chinese Meizu-fan getting hold of 1 m8 for himself and 1 for eBay sounds very unlikely with only 100 units around.

A XChinamenX Chinese Meizu-fan on the BBS selling his own m8 sounds rediculusly unlikely, although I would do it for more cash than i payed for it

There you have it, overpriced collectors-manner to get an m8.
