Now we have to convert most of videos for M8

In this voting ,The majority of users select M8 to giving up B-frame video signals playback,for on the market,ASAP.

Due to this result,J.W decide to finishing the rest of project with current hardware design,which means we have to convert those videos containing B-frame for M8 playback,just like what we do for iPhone.

Any indication of a release date then?

as i said in the other thread, that is not 100% sure. sw decoding could be the answer.

Glad to hear :D Need a new phone. Hope they'll release the M8 in September / October. I don't mind if I need to convert videos as long as it works I'm happy

and that is nothing related to hardware... its just about firmware and with an upgrade u can add this feature later

Imho the chances for you to be able to buy an m8 in october in Europe are larger than the chances you win the Euromillion...but barely Even for importing one from China, you will need to wait for its real release, after alpha and beta stage, and wait a little bit for availability. Given that, October is unlikely too, even for an import.
Imho having the m8 available in 2008 would be quite lucky already....

Do you think anyone will sell their alpha/beta phones on eBay? I'm positive they will go for more than the retail price, but do you think people will list theres on eBay? Is the alpha still scheduled for July?
