Yeah...a few months ago you were an M8 enthusiast too...so why don't you just keep quiet instead of writing nonsense things in all the topics in what reminds me of..english..?
    Thanks!

I think this is just another awkward google translation, it's hard to make any sense of it... what about waiting for a proper one before pulling the trigger?

IMHO, to me it looks like JW is referring to the "internal" testing (mentioned some time ago) which would start on the 15th July with 500 units, and that the beta version will come afterwards.

Let me post the original words from J.W

    以下是引用J.Wong在2008-6-6 16:19:00的发言:
    不show了,7月15号直接在论坛开展内测(大楷500名分三批),内测完成后发布测试版

M8 will not be showed at Qingdao expo, and directly released in offical forum (about 500 units ) for internal testing on July 15. After that, the beta version will come out.

    OK, Let's wait patiently!

Maybe we can't get one, but someone can, at least we can see the photo of the real M8 and use experience. Hope M8 will not disappoint us.

I still don't understand...so on July 15, 500 members of the chinese bbs will get a testing unit, and THEN the beta comes out? So who gets the beta version?

I think they mean making 500 units for closed testing with their betatesters in the company and worldwide developers (say Dane-Elec, Emgeton) for making localized firmware, finetuning things such as working at different frequencies in other countries. Then, when everything is working fine, a beta version (release candidate) comes out so sites like Engadget and MeizuMe can get a hands-on ;]
The beta version should have its hardware completed, so it can be upgraded to the retail one. And that would be perfect.

The detailed plan of releasing the beta version has not been made, it's expected to be sold at online mall of Meizu.

Oh shit!More rumours, and only rumours, not official pics or any kind of information about "the ghost" M8.Does anybody saw it yet? What happened whit the M8 working prototype at CEBITT?
I will definitely no longer wait for M8, it ain't worth wait, even more after the release of the HTC Diamond and other jewels at the panorama, that definitely got real!
Anyway, my choice is for the winning horse, of course Iphone 2nd generation.
To tell you the truth, I also changed my MEIZU M6 for the Ipod NANO 3rd generation, my God, what a difference...!

iPod nano 3rd gen is worse than the Meizu M6 when it comes to: sound quality, battery, playing formats, customizable sound, GUI and the screen is bigger on the M6. Also, you don't need iTunes for m6. And a M6 is a lot cheaper.

Ipod NANo 3rd generation is smaller, thinner and lighter than Meizu M6,that's the reason why it's screen is smaller, isn't it?The interface is at light-year distance from meizu's.The sound is much better than in M6, and the quality of the product is over Meizu's.
I am very happy with my choice, and remember, if you get an M8 (windows mobile based device) you will need ActiveSync to sincronize the M8 with your computer. Can anybody tell me what is the difference between this action and the fact of using Itunes to sincronize the Ipod or Iphone?

You really believe that it has better sound quality thatn M6?? I guess El Jobso told you that so it must be true.
In case you don't know, M6 is one of the best mp3 players in terms of sound quality and supported formats together with Cowon D2 and iRiver Clix 2. iPoo Nano 3 can't even compare to them. My sister has it and I was dissapointed with the fact that I couldn't set the equalizer myself. I don't thing there is anything in it that could justify it's price. Ok, enough of OT.
