hiya,
i made the huge mistake of starting a 18 month contract with three.
I'm stuck with their hopeless rules, and today, having ordered the cect hiphone, discovered it would not function at all on 3.
Wasn't the 3g feature of the M8 withdrawn!? I'm scared now that i won't be able to use this lovely machine when it gets released!!!
Will it at least support 3g bandwidth (UMTS)?
EDIT - just seen they wont be including this in the "initial release" appartently.
Do 3-UK allow their SIMs to work in phones with EDGE but not 3g!?
How long should it take for them to release a 3g version (if ever) and are there any chances theyll go back on their decision and include 3g in the intiial release. I swear they're limmiting their market dramatically by not having 3g support! Isn't the whole of Japan 3g only right now!?
thanks.Last edited by adramshaw; 03-21-2008 at 07:17 PM.

Don't EVER sign contracts. My friend signed to a three contract because of their "free minutes and free to call everyone within three", and her bills were like 50-70 usd/month (besides the regular thingy that you need to pay every month), and she didn't call much at all. Prepaid simcards rule.

Thanked 55 Times in 43 PostsDimaMP4 it depend what contract you have signed! i have 5 unlimited numbers (everything is free sms mms videoconferencing email calls and 24h/24h...) and 2 hours for 47 usd i think it's a good price because i call my unilimited every day! and prepaid minutes are so expensive in France.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsContracts aren't such a great idea. Unless you use your phone a lot you can get a really expensive contract which allows you to get a new phone when you want to. Otherwise your stuck with the same phone for two or three years. Take a look at the good phones from only 2 yrs ago, can you imagine using one of them today? lol. I would never get contract.
