Multi-touch has done!

latest report from J.Wong in 2008-3-21 16:41:00 chinese local time, that multi-touch has done!

He also said that he really want to show the interaction on multiple function models, you know, the framework principle pictures, but he was afraid that the pictures without beautified UI design will let others feel hard to accept, cauz many people just care for whether it looks pretty or not, and show no intersting on how it will interact with users.

"we really feel upset sometimes while reading so many users criticizing on the web site of our own", said by J.Wong, the Meizu's CEO.

----------------------------------------

The longer they take, the more critisizing will occur. That's just the flow of human patience. People are let down by the unfinished hardware and unfinished software, which are the 2 only development aspects actually of a smartphone.

They have five months left to complete the hardware (cpu in Q3), finish the software (gui refresh), bugtesting the final prototypes, starting testing sample batches, actually putting the device into production, quality testing their produced devices and supply it to the distributors.

I kinda wonder whether they'll make that mark, because it's a tight schedule and my above story only works with flawless development, which proved to be different in the past. If they do make it in August, there will probably be little supply as they will never be able to spend a few full months on building a good stock. First batches also tend to have imperfections, which even happened with Apple's iPhone.

Good news, but let's see how it develops.

Personally, I don't think it was appropriate for Jack to criticize how customers behaved. Companies cater to customers, not the other way around.

Thats for sure. You drive away customers if you criticize them.

So Meizu is not going to show the demo of their multi touch because of their ui design is not done and don't want to be criticized, so they will show it after the ui is done or is not showing it at all

"Seeing is believing".

As long they're not showing it, I won't believe it. Meizu has a history when it comes on misinforming the crowd when it comes to the M8...
