What?! Sorry, it sucks. It's better than the other ones, i agree, but it's not enough.

Edu, can you tell us what gives you the right to say that this fanart "sucks"? Are you able to do better? I agree you can say that you don't like it, but please, stay cool...

to be honest i do not really care as much about how it will look, its more important that is has a good battery life and has lots of features and good build quality
i guess i'm saying that the theme is not as important for me, and we'll be able to use our own themes probably anyway,
i'm hoping that when they finally release it they will have a really high quality finished product, and most of all a good battery life (better than iphone for music/video) becouse i do not like to be without mobile phone after listening to some music or watching some videos...
i know the interchangeable battery will come in handy, but still the battery life should be taken into consideration, becouse its important to a lot of people.

Do you know what gives me the right to say this "sucks"? Freedom of Speech. You should google it

In my OPINION this sucks. The design is confusing, it uses too much black and it lacks white, and most important of all, it uses too much gradients.

It's the complete opposite of what a good UI should be.

No need to google it, but with your explanations, I understand why you say you don't like it , but it can be a good base.

Maybe. But right now, there are so many alternatives to Windows Mobile UI... Why can't Meizu talk with SPB Software House or even Point UI, in order to launch Meizu with these UI's?







These are all Spb Mobile Shell themes.

I really like that one in #21 , Its really nice and differnt. The black looks professional and the ideas are well laid out and new. Nothing like anything ive already seen and still very modern and stylish;

It's not just the theme that's being designed, it's the complete gui. You can have great features, but if they aren't implemented good enough, you won't have much fun with your device, searching for that function, wondering "why the heck they designed it like that" and "how come I have to press this button instead of that one like on the other screen?"

You can have a great device, hardware and feature wise, but without a good GUI (including the theme), you're nowhere.

I agree, n°21 rocks, very nice, very classe.
The spb one is too childish (to my opinion)

The Cover Flow system is really well thought, but I doubt if Meizu (or J. Wong) will ask for some fan art instead of develloping his own UI ?
I can't wait for the next screen from the creator of this ! :P

Yeah , I think its insulting to develop fan art instead of your own design. Still , I think that design may even be better than any of the iphones artwork.

Well, I think I can share the liking for that UI, I also think it's nice.
I don't think however that flipping the player while navigating in-menu is a good idea, if there only is a landscape view for that screen.

I like your ideas, like the hand-writing, to search for an artist etc. Your presentation is not the best, but you try, and are creative, and have original ideas, therefore I welcome your next project.

Like I said, try The Gimp for Windows. French documentation is available as well.

Tu peux aussi choper une démo de Photoshop sur le site officiel je pense !
