They only said they didn't have it, it could be a mistaken translation, and Jack Wong will have it personally? It seems unlikely a bunch of tecchies would be left ith this awesome prototype...
I mean, Wong said only a few days before CeBit that they would bring a prototype, why would he have said that unless he had one in his hands? H knows it would ruin Meizu's reputation!
Just wait and see.
And if it isn't there than up yours Meizu!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIf Tangmu meets J. Wong there without that prototype he should rip Wong's body apart and put him in salt.
I'm really hoping that the prototype will be shown at Cebit 'cause I don't wanna buy the iPhone and the OpenMoko phone seems to be a little bulky for me.

a working model will not be at CeBit Wong has already responded in the chinese forum, we just need a proper translation.

Damn! Bad news
But it´s better with a long development time and a great phone, than a short development time and a bad phone

Thanked 1 Time in 1 PostBut a bad phone would still be better than a perfect overkill phone that never get released...
Or gets released when its already way out dated... Like in 2 or more years....

I think you guys are over reacting. Meizu is very unorganized. Remember when they said that there would be an M8 without a phone?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsLol, it's good to see that you're at least still optimistic about this SteveMB93. I admit you having loads more patience and understanding for Meizu which I kinda lost 4 months ago.
Who wants to buy a product from an unorganised company? One would say unorganisation would have it's inpact on the product itself.
Anyway, I'll look at things tomorrow again.ZTE Blade

I don't really care how unorganized they are, they've had good products before so I am pretty excited for the M8.

how can you still have faith in a company that can't even spell technology right on their booth stand at one of the biggest tech shows in the world. look at the picture >>>

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsGuess I don't really agree on that one.....it's acceptable i guess.
Same story, I also defended Meizu against clone/vapourware-screamers like 1 year ago.
Google translation sucks, but I don't really like the tone with which Wong says the last lines there, that they achieved their purpose on CeBIT. Unless there turns out to be a hidden prototype after all, if not Meizu contains a bunch of propaganda liers.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI see no point in getting worked up about this. What really matters is whether Mr Wong manages to deliver. Tomorrow is the big day. Let us reserve judgment. I hate to admit though that the signs are not very good.
