Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThat's true! It is said that J.Wong declared touch screen for M8 support Multi-touch months ago. Most people think that means M8 support Multiple touch. Later J.Wong said that we have software problems with Multi-touch. Than we know that screen support Multi-touch, but current software doesn't achieve that.
And as for so many iPhone clones have multi-touch, most of users think M8 should have that function. And I think it is not a difficult thing for Meizu to apply multi-touch in M8, but another execuse for delay. What we need to worry about is how long that will be delayed.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHiPhone is horrible clone, I won't use it even someone give me one for free. Such illegal mobile phones are called ShanZhai Ji, ShanZhai means a mountain fortress hold by bandits, Ji means Mobile Phone here. I have used one of them before, system easily and frequently shutted down automatically , that nearly drove me crazy! And HiPhone is supposed to be a ShanZhai Ji in chinese view.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsLet's hope we'll get a (accurate) release date or something. Last year they also gave us Q3 as release-period, lol.
I'm expecting it to be Q3 atm as well, so I'll wait it out and compare it with whatever Apple has managed to improve with iPhone2.iPhone 3G 16 GB
Firmware 2.2.1 jailbroken

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsQ3 for release the M8, it will be a has been! it will be 15months after the iphone released. And in Q3, many coming handset will be available, Garmin, SE, iphone 2,...

What is the SE? How do you know that the iPhone 2 will be out by then? How do you know it will be good? The Garmin won't have 16GB like the M8, and won't have it's price either. You can't compare the M8 to the 8GB iPhone, you have to compare it to the newly released 16GB for $500.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSE = SonyEricsson (XPERIA)!!!
Iphone 2 is in production state and the iphone 1 is now in limited production! Information from iphon.fr forum.
According iphon 1, I think Apple will make effort to obtain mobile market!
Garmin is good for GPS, and the interface seem very well also!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsQ3 is release date for Europe and US? What about China and Singapore market for M8?
-

Nothing is for certain. However, everyone who has directly contacted Meizu has recieved the same e-mail which says 'Q3 2008'. I think it will release in china first before the rest of the world.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOk. But it seems that M8 will be out in Singapore this month, according local press! To have succefull business, Meizu has to release it now, after it will be difficult.
-

hmmm, i'm not sure about it being released in Singapore first, unless J.Wong has specifically said it himself I would take that to be just a rumour. I agree Meizu certainly needs to release it soon as the cell phone market moves very fast however the M8 has a number of options that you will not find in the devices of many popular western/japenese/south korean brands such as HTC/SE/NOKIA/SAMSUNG etc. It will also be a lot cheaper. If they release the M8 by the start of Q3 (july) then they will still be able to sell many units.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsAt least we can be sure it will be there by Q3. We only don't know the year. :D
I also expect it to show up in China first, after that then Asia, then Europe and USA, probably 2009 I would say? Though you could import the phone of course.
