I just want to ask a question about Apple's multi-touch patent. Why is it that Microsoft already has a multi-touch software if Im not mistaken on their Microsoft Surface if the multi-touch is already patented by Apple.
And if Microsoft can use multi-touch why can't Meizu use for their M8. By using different gestures than the Iphone or touch. Because I have a whole bunch of gestures that Meizu could use that I thought about lately on their M8.

It is said that there are 8 different ways to make use of multi-touch.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYou can use another method and patent that for your own "multi-touch". Of course each way has it's own advantages and disadvantages.

I believe that although microsofts system is similar to apples in the sense that it can register multiple touch inputs on the display, it is called something different. In terms of the M8 there are rumours of gesture recognition being incorporated and perhaps even the 'touch flo' system used in HTC's phones. It will not be able to register multiple touch inputs at the smae time however.
