That's not the GUI they're using. They are using the iPhone's because they "can"

Oh my god, I want the Sophia nani. Very sweet, though a bit on the large side maybe. And GSM/3G would be nice. Guess it is expensive though.
Ah, so W-Sim is a sim card with the transmission technology integrated. So you only would need a GSM W-Sim adapter... if such a thing exists.

SHARP SH-921
Looks small and I like the minimalistic design. Too bad it's only for China...I think.

Lately I've been looking at the Samsung F700 or SCH-U940. If the U940 comes to verizon before the M8 is released, I think I may go with that and keep my mp3 player and cellphone separate from each other. It looks very sleek and has great functionality with a touchscreen on the front and a slide out qwerty keyboard.
It's currently on Vodafone as the F700, and is rumoured to come to Verizon as the U940 by 2nd quarter 2008. Here are the specs of the vodafone variety:
Phone Network: EDGE, GPRS, GSM, HSDPA (3G)Service : 900, 1800, 1900
Bluetooth : Yes
Infrared : No
Wi-Fi (WLAN) : No
USB : Yes
Main display : Color TFT touchscreen
Color display : 262.144 colors
Resolution : 240x440 pixels
Storage types : MicroSD
Battery : Lithium Ion
Standby time : 250 hours
Talk time : 3.5 hours
Megapixels : 5 megapixels
Digital zoom : No
Optical zoom : No
Auto focus : Yes
Flash : Yes
Recording video : Yes
FM radio : Yes
Java : Yes
Audio player : AAC, ACC, eAAC, MP3
Video player : 3GP, MPEG4
Weight : 3.2 oz.
Dimensions (H x W x D): 4.1x2x0.6 in.

Do keep in mind that the release date is rather unknown (ok, granted They claim 2nd half of '08, but thats a rather large spread, right. And it coïncides with the presumed launchdate of M8).
