The true release date?!?!

I was browsing and i found this website and other that are taking order on the M8.

Unfortunately this is a scam website, just like Negri Electronics.

That's the website i found out about this thing. I was like that thing looks just like the iPhone and has all the same features. I diddn't know it was a scam website though. They sell unlocked mobiles (supposed to).

what do you mean as scam websites? like they send you the wrong item or do dont send you one at all? and how do you know it's a scam website? i bought the cect p168 and i had no idea if i was a scam but the right product came to me.

No one knows the release date of Meizu M8. Some sites put up unreleased products to get more traffic / publicity (it's a very shady tactic). You are helping them. Good job.

sorry about that. i'm kinda new to this phone and i want to get it asap because we are switching plans and either it's i wait until the m8 comes out or i get a phone from out new company

The website sells more than just the M8 though. I think it's just their approximate release date.

Why do they approximate the release date with no explanation as to how they do it?

Why do they copy large chunks of text from other people (Meizu Me, gadget blogs)?

Meizu M8 is hyped, they're trying to use shady methods to cash in on the hype. So far, they've succeeded pretty well. They really need no defending nor any more help.

do you have an idea when it might come out? the beginning of this year? the end of this year?

Around March 2008 is what they're officially saying now.

Same as on that Shady Website. I just don't think they did it for traffic, it's like a shop advertising something coming soon.

They've been advertising that something coming soon for the past few months now. They aren't sure of the release date.

Are you behind those sites? Why are you always defending them?

They change the release date after news on Meizu Me. I think they've changed it 3 times already. They started with a really early date (something like November 2007) and got a lot of attention.

Chill Err0r, hes not really defending it. Hes saying the site listed it so they can use the traffic to sell other stuff.

March 08 is the proposed release date? Add 1 month to that and the M8 will really be on the market in April :P

There is far too much work to be done and far too much hype needs to be built up before we can say with confidence that we have made little to no progress at all.
