and it is said that the height for m8 is 11.9mm:D
but the shell is still rough, 'cause the final shell may come out when public test comes

and the current progress may be:
1. there is a real machine under testing.
2. just assebled
3. this is an old machine, but the picture is just shoot today?

Other information released from J.Wong:
1. Three holes are: 2 of them are distance sensor, 1 receiving 1 sending, another hole is light sensor.

2. price should be 8GB/16GB 2380/2980(rmb). if in globle they must go up cause GST or other costs.

3.battery is 4.2mm

sorry men, there are too many glossary that are about metal process those I don't know how to translate. But anyway, according to what J.Wong has said today, the M8 is really strong and good hand feelings. and unforturnately, the first term for sales can only produce 100,000 machines per month, but later will imporve the situation.

distance sensor... like when you lift the phone to your ears it picks up automatically?
hmm, according to the prices there won't be a 4gb model?

Apparently there will no longer be a 4GB model. (Which burns my heart... and my wallet). But the proximity sensor will be sued so that when you are in the middle of a call and the phone is close to your face the OS will not accept any commands from the touch screen so that calls wont hang up on accident and suchwhich.

what so there will definitely be no 4gb model????? does that mean they will be releasing the 16gb non 3g version when they release the first 8gb version? please say yes as I really want the 16gb.

nowhere, we just assumed it because of this:

3 buttons instead of 1 looks better to me of course.

As long as the building quality is okay; as buttons tend to get dirty and get broken when used often, and my m6's touchstip has gained scratches and produces a *clicking* noise when I move with it as well.
So I guess we'll see.

I'm not sure what to think about a possible release date. For one thing, I don't usually see renders and pictures of machine-insides month after month for any other product....at all actually :P.

Man there better be a 4gb model. My parents said they would only get me the 4gb unless the 8gb drops just a little:D in price. Hope they keep the 4gb.

i would say: go fot the 8gb version!
4 is never enough.. u got a 3,4" touchscreen..
i guess properly encoded movies in highest quallity for the m8 are goin to be as big as cds.. or at least half of it.. then u got musik, wallpapers, applications, games.. windows mobile (or CE) offers a whole bunch of it.. and u want to save your own pictures, videos and whatever porno's

well i know its eazy to exchange files but still.. i wouldnt always want to delete stuff to get new on it..
