M8 Real Machine Picture (back only)

^ We never reported that Meizu will showcase the M8 at CES this year. Most probably, they won't. There are a lot of low quality sites spreading false rumors all the time about Meizu products.

They've officially broken the december 30 promise with this. The units were supposed to be ready. Something as little as a working prototype can't even be shown at the moment.

The CES2008 website lists Meizu as a exhibitor, http://myces.bdmetrics.com/CDT-4183089/Meizu-Tech-Co-Ltd-/Details.aspx & under Export/Import it shows that Meizu has “Telephones - Cordless Telephones - 2.4 GHz”.

I don’t think they make cordless telephones, so some fans on Meizu’s BBS have the impression that this actually means it will be exporting “mobile phones”, ie. the M8, but perhaps it is just a mistake.

I know that there are a lot of low quality sites but one of the most important site of mobile here (Italy) has riported the news and i hope that is true

Even one of my favorite sites, Engadget, reported this fake piece of news. A little bad journalism can travel a long way.

It's getting pretty annoying. Everyone is trying to get a piece of the Meizu M8 buzz, and it's creating a very noisy environment for accurate information.

CEO Jack already said that it won't happen though.

I saw that video as well, but it is very, very old.
