Development board i'm guessing. I'm somehow finding the "V2"-part in the writing on the board extremely funny as the M8 in general will be like V0.002a beta 3 revision 4 :P:D

The M8 is still NOT DONE for release!

This pic is released in 25 dec Beijing Time. And J.Wong said that the true machine will contains 3 buttons below the screen: dail, desktop and player. besides that, he also conforted others don't need to worry about the finger prints, 'cause a hard protection will cover the touch screen and you can wipe out the fingerprints easily.

Finally, J.Wong released that the sample machine has been assembled and for its first integrated test.

the 3 button is a good idea, i wonder how will it look like. also a home button would be very useful!

i hope we will see pictures of the test machine very soon too!

And someone has asked J.Wong why there are three empty welding points on this base board.
    The answer is:
one for "movi nand" ( to replace mlc flash memory, there is one on the board)
the second one is for sdram (redundant, no need any more)
the last is wifi (need to be weld)

    forgive my extremely poor English....

J.WONG: I think meizufans no need to be disappoint, cas the model in my hand with three bottons is really pretty. I cann't post the model's picture just because the real m8 appearance is under patent's register

ask: the border of LCD screen is quite slim, it is hard for general products, do you have special order from Samsung? usually the expense for making new model is really expensive, then how can you maintain the low cost???

answer:well, you're right, while having dinner with my clients they talked about this. There nearly few of chinese companies will like to pay millions USDs for fee of these, Meizu maybe the first we encountered.

J.Wong: this is not good, I bought this one when it was just pushed to market, and the button design is too bad to use it easily. It is very beautieful and easy that of M8.

J.Wong: The control chip is ARM 11 and two 512(kb maybe) DDR sdram, and the video decodec chip is intergrated with control unit together. if it is not bothered by productiong, we can intergrate the flash memory into the main control chip, too!
