Recently,a self-called agent of MEIZU in ChangZhou( a city in China) wrote a artile to contradict some rumors of M8.I translated some into English,whether they are truth or not,I am on the MEIZU' side.

Rumour 1:The M8 is just a phone that let the APPLE's attorneys have things to do.M8 is even exaggerated as 'Chinese iPhone' by Chinese themselves.

He said:Sorry,when i handed M8,I didn't see anything similar to iPhone.If you mentioned the first released picture of M8,I had to confess they were alike.But now they are different in many ways.M8 is made of aluminium-magnesium alloy but not stainless-steel used on iPhone.And they are different in LCD(Size,Pixels).And the battery of M8 is removable.So many differences,M8 is not another iPhone absolutely.

Rumour 2:One year ago,Meizu said they would manufacture M8 and released the picture.But now there is still no evidence that the PSed image will turn to reality.

He said:In the Agent Conference last month,Meizu showed us distributors the real M8.We found it very comfortble when handed M8.Obviously,contrast to iPhone,it is more suitable for the Asian in the size and weight.But as a pity,we didn't have chance to contact the OS of M8.I heard about there's two engineers from Microsoft working in MEIZU now(I don't know what kind of job).Besides,there's engineers from Samsung,designors from iAudio even the designors from the company which had designed Moto V3.

In davilido's thread there's some pics taken by this agent.It's a pity there's no M8 pics.In his word,on the conference,only one M8 was shown.So not to waste others' time,he didn't shoot the picture.

I don't think that they have designers from COWON iAudio, the M8 UI designer used to work for Creative.

as I said in the other thread this does inspire confidence, particularly the involvement of other large established tech companies with experince in making these types of devices.
