I thought you thought the knockoff argument was funny.

It's not really spamming but ok, I'll stop.

I still wonder who would ever spend that much money on the M8 if it had no telephone ? That's pointless imho. Let's hope they change their mind regarding to the outer-asian market. Or they possibly will experience their very first very big financial disaster.

Any argument about Apple vs. Meizu on these forums will be full of bias, uninformed (& emotive) arguments. This just isnt the place for serious discussion on the topic.

On the other hand, ecsk2 & royals, you need to read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fallacies

Reducing an argument to the "offical" meaning of words is pointless, thats not the point he was making - and is completely useless regarding intelligent discussion.

I aggree entirely with the position that Meizu treads dangerous ground when it _consistantly_ targets Apples products (which cannot be argued). Apple has very stringent quality control, while Meizus quality control is somewhat questionable (re: Meizu M6 firmware bugs). Although, having said that Apple also has appaling vendor/supplier lock-ins. I am no Apple fan, I own Meizu products, but for gods sake lets atleast be objective about this. That argument, was retarded.

My 2c.

Ironically I had never thought about it any further but the Dell Axim has FOUR SMALL BUTTONS at the button and ONE LARGER (MAIN) button, see anything familiar in that "solution"? See there is nothing new under the sun really

..and frankly its not the only one to have the same color design when you put this phone next to a dell x50./x51. it looks like it belongs to the very same "family"

I had the Dell Axim X51v, great system.

Then where do you suggest we post it? On an Apple fanboy website? I don't really see what's wrong with ecks posts. They are true, not uninformed.

Well, you can pretty much expect something similar to that, because the M8 does have a landscape and portrait mode for you to work on.

There has been a bit of negative feedback on the expected pricing of the M8 on Meizu BBS so J Wong is currently running a poll to find out what prices members have paid for their current brand\phone.

Yes I have noticed that thread too, it's a good strategy for marketing :D hope he goes ahead and price the M8 within the winning 1500~2000 yuan mark :D

It seems to be the most popular price range but I doubt it will come in at that low.

I think the reason that price range is so high in percentage is due to the fact that, most people own phones that are 2 to 3 years old, and they are putting the phone price they bought (2 to 3 years ago) on that forum.

You get what you pay for. For $200, you can get the CECT iPhone clone.

thanks, iversonjack. And I really would like to share the whole dictionary explanantion, cause it really made my day :

pillock n. Idiot. You could almost decide having read this dictionary that any unknown British word is most likely to mean "idiot". And you could almost be right. We have so many because different ones sound better in different sentences. On the subject of the word in hand, I am told by a contributor that it's a contraction of the 16th century word "pillicock" (describing the male member) and by another (who admits to not being completely sure) that this may be a male animal with one lone testicle and derived from "bullock". It's funny, even if it's not true...
