    I want a MEiZU m8 MiNiONE

I am outraged at meizu. Why are no good phones coming to verizon. Is there any possibility that meizu would bring this phone to verizon. If not do you guys know any phones that look like the meizu or iphone. I just really want a touch screen phone.

    Any help would be great.

no, it most likely will not go to verizon because it will be a GSM phone. the only GSM providers in the US are t-mobile and cingular/ATT. unhappy? blame whoever chose to go with verizon.

How hard is it to make a phone cdma compatible? I hate how cingular gets every single good phone before verizon. Do you guys know anything like the Meizu that I can buy?

CDMA is a thing of the past... So if your gonna cry about it, don't. Just cancel your Verizon plan, and sign with a GSM SP

Yea, but Verizon is the best company in the United Stats. Have you guys heard of the HTC Touch.

if verizon is so great, just get a verizon phone. i don't know how hard it is to make a GSM phone into a CDMA one, but i'm guessing meizu won't bother. there's no point in going after such a small market.

GSM is horrible in the US. I guess I will just settle for a black-and-white phone.

well as CDMA seems to be a pretty limited network with a limited market i suggest you check your local verizon dealer

Unless I'm mistaken I beleive that I read the minione will be compatible with SCDMA. I'm not quite sure if this is what you're hoping for but why would they offer it if the rest of the world uses GSM anyway. Check out the specs anyway unless Error made a boo boo.

Hi all, I'm writing from Italy. I guess to understand that miniOne will come in 2008. I strongly hope it will be released in Europe, because I want it, it seems a great device!

Do you think I can hope to have it?

MiniOne would be released first in China in late 2007/early 2008, but most likely in late 2007. WRT Europe, not sure yet - but definitely not the same time as the release in China.

It is very difficult to go from GSM to CDMA because the is no way to transfer your plan and subscriber identification to a new phone without having a licensed rep with the appropriate technology do it for you. For GSM phones all you need to do is swap out a sim card.
