Hm, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Engadget carried the news but I think the write up was ok. Gizmodo I believe did a lazy write up without reading our entire entry.

As for the M8, I think Apple funs will hate it and there's nothing that can be done about that. We're looking forward to getting a reply from Meizu for a possible video review of the M8 late this year or even next year. Our site will give special attention to PMP products from China, largely because they produce the most and we believe there is enough critical mass built around PMPs in China to make it a really successful market.

yeah there will be a verison without the camera, you just have to turn the phone part on

most likely software that you have to buy, since its still gonna ship with a sim card slot

the Meizu M8 is a GSM phone, which is a network used all around the world,

now that means if the phone can work on the 850 and 1900 networks, it

will work in the US. because the United States two main GSM wireless

providers, Cingular & T-Mobile, use those networks.

basically what im sayin is that it will work with T-mobile and Cingular ok
