Alternative Meizu miniOne of operating system

Meizu miniOne works in Windows CE because not it does work in Linux, is far better and it gives to many but possibilities and but durability of the battery.

Because a group of people created Red Flag (a distribution of Linux for small devices) , this dispositvo is called MIDUNIX.

He wants to say that the miniOne should be able to run with alternative operative systems.

For example with MIDUNIX, programmed by the creators of Red Flag Linux for mobile devices.

    .... something this way :D

Btw: Why does everyone wants to use Linux on PC, PSP, Handheld and now Meizu...?

Yes, but why? With Linux you would only have compatibility (?) problems...

Why should they? Getting the best OS for mobile devices is simple - choose Microsoft. It's working, it's compatible and you can buy or/and download a lot of really good programs.

With Linux you can make its own operating system and make friendly software with hardware similar to iPhone with its Osx. Linux is better in the durability of the battery until doubling the normal and more things .

Many more phones based in Linux, Nokia (Memo in his n770 or n800) and many more…

An example is this Motorola ROKR E6 with theme iPhone

¿Can this make it Windows CE?

Just ask me. I put linux on many devices, from iPods to XBOXes, I even have a DD-WRT system running on the Linksys WRT54G router.

Basically, Linux has its qualities over Windows CE/Mobile, including that it's free to license, open-source, almost universally compatible (with versions for x86, PowerPC, ARM, SPARC, etc.), and at its power also lies its features.

Basically, there's Desktop Linux (for desktops), Server/Enterprise/Cluster/etc. Linux (for maintaining servers and the such), Embedded Linux (what would be on the Meizu), and Raw/Custom Linux (built for specific tasks like running from one floppy, or launching a space shuttle).
With Linux, you can compile applications and programs from source and port them easily across the spectrum. You might just have to change endianness of data and other minor stuff when porting between platforms.

But with Windows, there's Windows Desktop (XP, ME), Professional/Workstation (XP Pro, 2000 Pro), Server (2003 Server, 2000 Server) and CE/Mobile (Windows CE 6, Windows Mobile Smartphone/PocketPC).
All of the desktop and server versions only run on one type of processor (x86), even though they have kernels for ARM, PPC, SPARC, etc.
However, Windows Mobile is way different. It's to Windows XP as the iPod is to Mac OS X. It only has a similar-ish kernel and shell. Nothing else is really common, so porting requires a new program to be written. .NET is an exception, but it requires a framework to be seperately installed.
