Two 512Mb chip = 1024Mb ... of RAM...that's sweet.
But what does it means "two 16 512Mb chip components 1024Mb 32" ?
What are the 16 and 32 for?

And forgive my newbness but...those EDGE+WCDMA means that it will work with UMTS networks?
Is it Europe compatible?

its not 1024 meg of ram , its 128 meg of sdram ( whic is the ram) the 1024 meg may be flash memory , definatly not rap , unless those players are the size of actual computers because they havnt developed a 512 meg chip yet at a affordable price

As far as Wikipedia goes:
GSM 400/450 = Scandinavia
GSM 850 = North & South America, Canada, Asia
GSM 900 = almost everywhere
GSM 1800= somewhere :P
GSM 1900= North America

Looks like Europe is into the 900/1800 frequency.

I would buy this phone in a heart beat. It is everything I would hope for except it being closed os. But like many others I don't believe that this phone is possible. As far as I know there are none in the wild. Not even 1 that I could find. If there was even one peorson with it, I would wait and buy it. The next choice for me is the NEO1973 and since it has 180 phones in the wild for development purposes I know they are not vaporware. So I will wait until september when the NEO1973 comes out and if it's still the same old story I will have to say good buy to my dream phone which will just stay a dream.

The NEO1973 is quite underwelming o_O
No wifi, no 3G, no photocamera...unknown CPU power and unknown price.
It has an open OS, wich is a very nice thing, but that's really not enough!
If the miniOne ends up in vapor I know my choice will go on the Toshiba G900.

Have u realized that The Iphone is possible manufactured in China, then some engineer "steal" the product Idea and design specs --> pass to meizu, --> meizu redesign it.

It's possible to build a device like this, Meizu might have good profit in selling M6 and they can negotiate good price micro chips to produce the M8.

I don't know what you think but that M8 will be sold out soooner or later like the M6 did in last year. It'll be the hardest competitor to other phone prodider too Samsung LG and other brand will be stuck with it.

US provider of T-mobile, Verizon defenitely want this device if it's not too controversial with iphone.

I definitely rekon this device will drop and won't just be vaporware. I personally think the specs may be slightly different on the final release and the us/eu pricing will definitely be higher. We must remember that the 8gb m6 and the m3 are still few and far between in the us and europe too. Meizu needs to improve their distribution channels.
