M8 getting really hot

Hi there!

My M8SE is getting really hot just next to the home button, but I know it's not the battery that is getting hot but the phone itself.
And I have another problem : if the phone is plugged to usb and I remove the battery the phone won't start.
Where does these problem come from?
I use 9.9.23 official.

I never tried to remove battery and start the phone....
And I never noticed some overheating my M8, only display with android fw, with OFW never...sorry that I can not help with it.

Yeah the phone needs the battery in with a decent amount of charge (at least 4% I think) to boot up.

If you remove the battery you should be able to start the phone if it's plugged to usb. Thatbused to work but now the phone starts, showing meizu for a few seconds and then it stops.
