M8SE(0.9.9.8)calendar sync outlook works!!

I needed very much time to sort things out at the forum because many people tried to get it to work.

This week i emailed meizu about the sync.
I told him what FW i use and asked if i could get the sync work.

They said i needed the programm microsoft activesync 4.5 from the meizu website. I downloaded it from the microsoft website because thats in english.


At the meizu site there is an usb driver: I can't post the link.

Download that too, unpack the rar file and place it in an map on your HD.

First install activesync. Put your M8 on the usb activesync mode in the settings. Open activesync and try to connect.
When you connect after the install, activesync won't reconize your phone.
Go to computer/hardwaredevice. There you will see the M8 with a yellow answersign.
XP says that the firmware is not correct or readable (Code28). You need to search for new FW says XP.
Say to install your own and not search the internet. Browse to the file that you have downloaded from the meizu site and select.
Xp will say that what you have selected is not correct. Ignore it and install it.

When you are ready restart windows and the phone.
Open activesync, plug the phone to the PC and try to connect.
It recognises the M8 and start to sync.

Ok, the calendar of the M8 is not as perfect as outlook is, but the dates and timings are all correct. Even the alarm. I have tested it with different new apointments and they are all working and synchronising.
I haven't tried the contacts yet because i haven't got one in outlook at the moment. But activesync does sync them.

Just try it, you will see it works.

Btw. I have an M8SE with FW 0.9.9.8. Windows XP, sp3 and outlook 2002.

I just know about the official (0.9.9.23) and the costum 800Mhz(0.9.9.5)

No i haven't. It was installed when i bought it.

I think the 0.9.9.23 is newer than the 0.9.9.8.
