Disk Problem

This is a discussion on Disk Problem within the General Meizu M8 forums, part of the Meizu M8 category; Hi, could anyone help me ? I have M8 SE... and my meizu couldnt read the disk and my laptop ...

    Unhappy Disk Problem

    Hi, could anyone help me ?
    I have M8 SE... and my meizu couldnt read the disk and my laptop couldnt detect the disk as well...
    when i open an application, several scenario will happen depends on the application.
    1. there were just no response from the meizu (games, m8 profile)
    2. no responses at all (music, mail)
    3. open, but without any content, and unable to add anything (picture, clock, calender)
    4. one of these pop-up will come out "Unable to find disk!", "Target path does not exist" or "\Disk Non-existent folder" (recorder, Ebooks, video)

    From several forums, i manage to find several solution, but none seems to work...


    1. I've tried to open locate the disk through Windows' Disk Management and WinHex application when the Meizu M8 se in an uprgade mode, but still couldnt detect the M8.
    2. When i plug my meizu to my laptop, it is charging
    3. There are sign of "Safely remove hardware" icon on the taskbar, but when i clicked it, there are no Meizu m8 se icon.
    4. It unable to read a SIM card


    In the storage properties (from control panel), there are 2 store info :
    1. DSK1 : PocketStore Disk - 103.36 mb
    2. SMflash Samsung Flash Disk - 144 mb


    any idea ??

    try reset registry by pressin m and power button at same time but u can do that only when the phone is shuted down

    i did clear the registry,,,, and too bad it's still the same... @_@

    @hondaracer
    after i clear the registry, i did according to what you said...
    but too bad the software couldnt locate the Meizu device.... ~_~

    I have the SAME problem, i sent it to repair in my country im waiting what will they say.....

    and do update us on what did they said.....

    and btw, did u send it to the seller or directly to the manufacturer ?

    No, i didn't. I sent it to the hungarian distributor, maybe they can do something..... I don't want to send back to China........

    Had the same problem.
    Had to send it to Meizu.

    fixed it without any problems while using Honda suggestion. Try using different pc with different OS on it. I did it with dell studio 1535 running Windows 7 Ultimate x86
    Meizu M8 SE 8Gb + SHS8000 Philips
    Meizu M9 16Gb + dr.dre tour earphones

    i tried fixing it with my asus (vista) and my friends asus (windows7)... BUT still.... it unable to read the disk...
    i will try using windows XP later on....
