meizu m8 opera facebook trouble!

hi guys,

(running dual boot Android FW A13.5 and MyMobile FW 0.9.9.23)
when i try to visit touch.facebook.com and I click live feed, it only shows for a few seconds then switches back to the news feed (archived semi-old feed) does this happen to anyone else, can someone please test?

Also if I try to launch the full site when I login and it loads facebook, the browser crashes, shows a popup saying its experienced a fatal error and needs to close, does this happen to anyone else?

will a firmware re-install solve this? because I dont want to have to reinstall my firmware again

Well I tried today in the bus something out.
if touch.*.com doesnt work, try m.facebook.com. Thats the mobile version and it worked for me all the time until now.
You could also try to install Opera Mini 5 beta fix (You can find it in the downloadbase).
This browser is in my eyes much more better.

Thanks for this, the mobile version does work, but I much prefer the touch version, I installed the opera mini 5 beta fix, facebook works, but I find it's (opera mini beta 5 fix) fonts not to my liking. they are very big and don't look very uniform.

Does this mean that the default browser is at fault? would a reinstall of the firmware or browser even solve these issues with facebook?

i have an facebook wigwt for android... and it works fine for me.. but in win ce is the only way via opera...

I don't think that its the only way. Before I used Opera Mini 5, I had no big problems with facebook in the old opera. Maybe you could clean your Cache of the standard opera?
I don't think that a reinstall of the firmware would solve the problem. But you could try :/

I've tried clearing my cache and no improvement...

looks like a reinstall will be the only way

a reinstall did not solve it :'(
