Accessories and aftersales service in future M8?

    Accessories and aftersales service in future M8?

    Hello,

    if the M8 isn't produced anymore, what will happen with aftersale service?
    Will meizu completely solve from Meizu M8 Accessiories after-sale service and the offical FW 1.0?

    This would be a big loss for all the M8 users.
    Does anybody have concrete informations?

    as Accessiores i mean Silicon Case, Screen protector, new touchscreens for self build in.
    aftersale service, like warranty only that you pay for the repair of the phone

    Well, they would continue to offer warranty for the M8 until it runs out.

    And accessories... if the M8 is popular other companies will make it, and the M8 isn't so popular anymore.
    Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

    Correct me if i am wrong, but isnt the touchscreen bought from the component manufacturer rather than meizu themselves? Or have meizu been selling them separately too?

    No reply to my email from Meizu

    I have a Meizu M8 which has a non reponsive touch screen after I replaced it with an identical touch screen bought off ebay. I recently wrote to Meizu's sales department about this, with my message translated into Chinese to make it easy for them, but I received no reply. Can anyone suggest how I can get my M8 repaired? Should I just send it to them without authorisation although they may decide not to return it? After all, losing my M8 would not be a big deal as it does not work any way, and I suppose no one does repairs in the UK or anywhere alse outside of China.

    Could it be possible that Meizu has a policy of not offering after sales service for obselete models?

    There is a (german) Thread on how to send the M8 back to Meizu if I remember correctly. Dunno if that still works this way. It could be that Meizu wont accept the M8 though as it has been repaired by your hands.
    You might also be able to trade it in vs. a MX in a few weeks.
