i sent my meizu for the known touchscreen problem and they fixed it under the device warranty , i didn't pay for repair what i did pay for was a total of 60$ for sending it both ways (and bought 2 anti-glare screen protectors ,price is included in these 60 $)
and i should receive my device on monday possibly as the EMS traching says its been shipped from china two days ago .
    don't know if that helps

I just got my phone back from repairs, I did not pay anything for the repair itself. However I did send my phone to the shop i Bought it from, and they dealt with arranging repairs with Meizu. All I did was send my phone to them(no battery nor cover) and they sent it to Meizu. When the repair was done I had to pay USD 30 for the shipping back to me. Then they sent me my phone and now I have a working touchscreen

However it is woth noticing that my warranty expired perhaps just a couple of days before Meizu got my phone, so maybe my warranty lasted throughout the whole month and therefore I did not have to pay any repair costs.

    same here,

I reshipped it to my webshop, got an SE instead of an FE.
So I only paid for the shipping costs. (Can´t remember the prices, sorry)

Coktail, is yours still in warranty and did you try to contact your seller?

Mine was still in warranty, and I sent it back to my webshop. I paid the postage from Switzerland to Hong Kong (around 25US$) and the postage back (12US$).

If this is the offer Meizu made you and not some shop or so, it is probably ok, although a little high. As evow04 said, do you still have warranty and did you contact your seller?

    Hello,

i bought my in MBK Bangkok and dont get any invoice. I thougt if you let fallen your phone by yourself, there is no guarantee. I try to contact the seller. It is a very small shop and they told me i have to come in to the shop so i leave it.

    Regards

If your touchscreen is physically broken, as in shattered in pieces because you dropped it, well then it will not be under warranty.

I believe all who answered in this thread assumed that your screen stopped responding to touch, which is a common hardware problem with the M8 and thus is NOT due to usage error.

So if you dropped your phone and the glass broke, then no warranty. If the glass is fine and you did not drop your phone, but it suddenly does not respond to touch, then you should have the repair for free.

and if the glass is been broken, one might try to replace them itself :-)
