Bricked Meizu M8SE

You may know or may not know my Meizu M8SE got bricked. It seems that some people actually not exactly understand what I mean with bricked. If someone can provide an Meizu M8SE 8GB BIOS from the middle of november, it would be very nice. Here I provide a video and some photos. Every comment is more than welcome.

ok I don´t know where you can become a actuell original bios...

but I found one long time ago....perhaps is a solution..Idon´t know...try to your own risk or wait for answer or send back to your seller....

This bios can damage your phone!!!

In the rar file is a chinese tutorial......before you upgraded to the bios you cleared the bios?

I saw in the tutorial there cleared the bios before upgrade, perhaps you can do this too, and install your bios new?

just FYI, you disk can be recognized by PC, right?
so, can you delete those 2 files(mzboot.bin & mzupdate.bin) in your disk and drop the latest FW(0.9.9.17) into your disk, then try to upgrade FW, will that work?

cuz i didn't see you pushed Volume + Power in the video, can you enter the FW upgrade interface?

No, I can't enter the firmware upgrade interface. I already tried that.

i'v read that tutorial again, seems you phone stopped on step 6 and haven't upgrade the BIOS at all.

have you tried deleting those files and put the latest FW and try to enter the FW upgrade interface(try some more times, it can be missed easily)

from the tutorial, if you entered the BIOS upgrade interface, you can click "Restart", then Hold on Volume + power to enter fw upgrade interface.

I've cleaned my DISK. I can't enter the firmware upgrade mode. The only thing I can do is flash a new BIOS.

FE bios upgrade is indeed a 2 step process, but the bios update fails due the fact that the check fails (since it is different hardware).

worse case scenario one might dump you a package you could write over jtag to unbrick the phone.

What exactly is the bios update for? because i have a 16GB FE. was wondering if a bios update would help me in any way. i bought my M8 about a year ago, and i have updated the FW to 0.9.9.8

As far as I can tell it only updates the look/language of the firmware screen, so probably not necessary.

i got answer from meizu, they said the files, mzboot.bin & mzupdate.bin, are internal use only and they don't release to public. that's sad. sorry HondaRacer

Damn, this is going to cost money for me. My phone will be away for months. And if they just send the files only to me, I won't release it in public.

Is it possible to retrieve or extract this files from our own phone? We could sent it to you.
What king of program or tool would be used?

that´s bad luck for HondaRacer!

So one option left next to shipping it back; dumping a rom over jtag...

Our wiki says this is the SE jtag:

what causes the brick? did you do something unusally with your phone?

The better alternative still are contact the meizu and try to get again...
My meizu is FE, i can't help you =/
