    tried everything nothing helped.
Can't upgrade firmware or clean registries. I have a selfmade dualboot firmware with latest offical and lbe10.1 everything was ok and after a week or so I wasn't able to boot mmobile. I can boot only android now.
hondaracer please keep us informed about conditions for repair.

In your case I would directly contact Meizu at info@meizu.com. By the way, this is my current email history with Meizu (from old to new):
    Dear Meizu,

Recently I tried to upgrade the BIOS of my M8SE, without success. Probably it was a faulty one or one for M8FE or M8RE. Now it's stuck at the BIOS upgrade screen. Hopefully I can send it to you for service. A Meizu Me forum member send you a few weeks ago a request for the proper BIOS files, however you couldn't send it cause it was only used internally. Please give me a contact person and a shipping address for reparation. I'm hoping for a quick and reliable handling.
    Dear Sir,

    How are you!

Pls advise where you purchased M8, and its serial No. & IMEI No.

Re M8 after-service, pls read our announcement on Announcement of M8(SE) after-sales service for overseas end-users - M8 Help Center - Meizu Forums first.

Pls try to Uninstall any third party's software, and clear registry as below. Turn off M8, press and hold M button and Power button simultaneously until 'Clear registry...' appears on screen. After finish, turn on M8 to see if it works.
    Dear Meizu,

Thanks for your fast replay! I've bought it in a Dutch store called -store name-. However, after receiving a negative and offending replay from them, I taught I'd better contact you directly. I never received a official warranty card in the box, but I it bought on 27-12-2009. I forgot to send you my IMEI and Serial number, so here you are:

    IMEI No.: -IMEI Number-
    Serial No.: -Serial Number-
    Hello again,

    Well noted about the SN.

Pls try and advise the method as mentioned in the last email.

    Pls advise for any question.
    Dear Meizu,

Thanks for your replay. I've tried to clear the registry, but it didn't work out as it should. It says 'Clear Registry...' and goes directly back to the BIOS upgrade screen.
    Dear Sir,

In this case, if it can't be fixed, pls return to my factory the unit for repairing.
    Dear Meizu,

Thanks for your replay. Can I just use the following address for service?: Meizu Tech Bldg., Technology & Innovation Coast, Tangjia Bay, Zhuhai , Guangdong, China. Do I need to send it to someone personally or is 'Meizu' enough.
    Hello again,

In case that it needs to be returned to factory for checking and repair. Pls read our announcement about M8(SE) after-service on Announcement of M8(SE) after-sales service for overseas end-users - M8 Help Center - Meizu Forums and confirm your acceptance of the possible expenses first.

If accepted, you may send the defective unit to our factory address as below.

    Meizu Technology Co., Ltd.
Add: Meizu Tech Bldg., Technology & Innovation Coast, Tangjia Bay, Zhuhai 519085, Guangdong, China
    Tel: (86-756) 6116261
    Attn: -Meizu employe-

NOTE: Send the defective unit only packed well, WITHOUT battery, gift box and accessories.

Pls advise courier name, tracking No., sender's name and address after dispatch.
    Dear -Meizu employe-,

Thanks for your replay. I accept the following expenses. I will be sending it with TNT post but without tracking no. for cost reduction and it doesn't work anyway. There will be a note included in the package with my address and such.
    Hello,

Well noted. Pls let us know further information when you settle it.

I don´t know the context, but i supose they are informing you that the required service was an update of the GSM and AP(?) software.

They are charging €35 for service and shipping. So the total costs are just under €41. Seems like an fair price to me. Shipping with DHL.

    Great news!
With which service did they send it?
I hope it is not soaked in the tears of meizu tech staff since it might be one of the last M8's to leave them
(okok, probably they will fix them still for a while)

They send it with DHL Express service... I was thinking of an Apple iPod Touch 4 but they can forget it . How Apple handles with Meizu and HTC makes me very sad The companies should stick together for one time and vomit Apple right in it's face until Apple is gone.

I got it back and I'm not noticing something special except the NewUi Upgrade screen. It still has firmware 0.9.9.17 on it. The sad thing is that I've to pay about 40 euro extra for the customs
