Clock Resetting

Hey all, just ordered a new battery for my meizu, but i was not sure about the exact battery because its the oldest m8 (first edition 16gb m8) so i took a look at the battery. well in doing so i took the battery out of the phone then put it back in and the next day i was late for work and noticed my clock reset! well the DATE RESET aswell to july 1st 2008!

what happened? how can i fix my phone so that doesnt happen when i take the battery out? i think its because of the internal battery, so is there a way to change the internal battery? or does an internal battery even exist? how do i solve this problem because this has never happened before.

Davidko, this is an issue that can happen if the internal battery has issue´s.
but i am not sure if it has one in the m8 to be honest, i would say have a look on the PCB documents to make sure.

Never had this myself with my m8, but i don´t take off the battery very often, nor my battery is broke so it might be an other situation with my SE.

Maybe an FE user could confirm if this is normal...
