To bad, your touchscreen is also dieing...
You can either send it back to Meizu, or search on ebay for a replacement touchscreen.

    Oh noo =(
    Not you too!
maybe for now you can try if it gets better without screen protector (to increase the conductivity)
also using anti static stuff on the screen could help.
But very probably you will need to get this fixed bei meizu or by replacing the touch ='(

You can try to buy a new touch screen and replace it.

Damn, another victim of the Dreaded Touchscreen Failure
Best thing is to either send it back or replace the touchscreen.

Hi, please try the "lighter trick" first, before sending it to china.

Take a electric lighter, remove the gas or block it. Then hold it near above the screen and start making sparks in the near of the display.
The ionized air should discharge the touchscreen. The failure might come back, then do it again.

I "repaired" mine some times with this method. But now it doesn't work any longer. I brought a new one from the ebay seller called maxlzf2008
Im still waiting for it, will tell you if its ok.
here is the threat for your problem:

btw: check first if you have the 1nd or 2nd version of the touch screen!

The lighter trick never fixed a M8 permanently, it just works temporary.
with the lighter you probably kill some capacitors and after that its only a question of time =(

Antistatic is for example plastic wrap that you use in the kitchen, antistatic Scotch tape, Aluminum foil, leting the phone rest on a grounded metal surface for the night...
that stuff should not be destructive so they are at least worth a try.
But before shocking my m8 with a electrostatic discharge i would rather send it back as it is.

how much warranty do i have on my device from meizu?

EDIT: There was a programm where you can check the functionality of the screen...where to find it?

EDIT2: Tried the lighter trick like for 20 min...does not work at all...

I think I have similar failure, but over the hole screen...
Couldn't fix it. The screen didn't seems to be charged, but really defect
If you put the hole thumb on the defect area, does it respond?

btw: I don't think that the lighter kills some capacitors, because it only ionizes the air and does nothing to the capacitors! It only discharges the screen itself. I had very good results with it for a long time.

The trick of Electronic Static Remover and Power Demagnetizer is the same trick than lighter trick, but is profissional tool, but do the same thing.
But why the Meizu M8 touchscreen die ? It's is in every M8 ? Or just a few ?

I have the same touchscreen problem, acted up a few days ago. Anyone have any idea how to send it back to meizu? I'll be shipping from Canada but I am unsure how to go about this replacement.

    It doesn't work!

I've bought and tried with my M8. Nothing...

First I had Meizu FE refurbished - I've tried everything and did not fix it.

Now I have a Meizu SE and screen become defective few days ago!!
