using M8 outside China

I brought a M8 from China to the US. I thought setting it up here could be a problem, but it turned out extremely easy.
I inserted my cellphone's sim card into it, search for network, it prompted 2 provider: AT&T and T Mobile. I selected AT&T, then I was able to talk on phone!

However, my old AT&T cellphone shows an icon when I have a voice mail. M8 doesn't do it. Is there any way to get this on M8.

Another small thing. M8 comes with a Weather application, but it can only select Chinese cities. How do I make it work for US cities?

Since the arrival of the New Firmware User Interface, the voice mail icon has disappeared. It was integrated in the "old" Firmware UI... so, we just can hope Meizu Team will bring it back with new update.

You simply can't (as far as I know). The application is made for China cities only. M8 is not planed to be sold abroad by Meizu, so they simply didn't add foreign cities.

Don't hesitate to search the forum for further information, maybe I'm not 100% right.
