keep in mind that the RAM currently in use by the os/apps won´t be showed.
So no big deal

Thanked 7 Times in 4 PostsAre you sure? I look in m8 Sprite and there it shows me this:
It use 70mb of ram without using any apps.
So in your opinion evow04, the Os use around 100mb ram and it doesn´t shows it me.
And the other 70mb are using, too. So my device use around 170mb ram only for running meizu OS?
I don´t know anything about this, and I hope you answer again.
if I understand it right.

Thanked 189 Times in 130 PostsWel being honest i can not say how m8 Sprite calculates the memory.
According the Meizu add it has 256 mb ROM aboard (yeah i know they say rom but you oftenly see confusing between rom & ram so ..)
So i would say:
(256 MB) - (80~90 mb for the os install) = (176~166 mb) ?
the latest amount of memory in my calculation you will need to lower with the amount of ram that is in use for loading the os it self (about 70 mb +- ?).
Seems possible to me?
ps keep in mind that it is hard to speak with hard numbers since i do not know if the mentionned 256 is a real 256 and not for example just 250, compare it like you buy a 10 gb hard disk : it isn´t a full 10gb hard disk but more a 9."something" ...
