New User - Using M8 in Canada

Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum. I'm thinking of getting a relative to pick up a Meizu M8 SE from China for me. My cousin told me they are ~1500-1800YMB. Is that about right? Will I have any issues using the phone in Canada? Just to confirm, the SE will have WiFi, and is quadband?

Anything else I should know about the M8 before getting one?

i´m not sure. but i think we have no quadband

dont post anything you dont know
we have american users here so at least some the older m8 versions have quadband
we cannot say how the new versions are equipped

As a Canadian in China, and not being fluent in Chinese, I like the M8, but find the lack of English apps frustraiting. If the new firmware is Win mobile compatible or android, I will be thrilled. I kind of wish it had 3G, also I get annoyed with the number of iphone apps out there as I keep looking and looking for dictionaries or similar apps and all I can find are links to iphone apps. Getting a real love/hate relationship going for the iphone as a result.

About Quadband & wifi i can only say that meizu announces the phone as a dualband device (link) with wifi+wapi included, but that doesn´t mean it couldn´t be a quadband since i know there are members from Canada (try this).
