no accent in mail app

hi guy , i still have no accent in mail app, i have russian letter instead, i choose ansi 0 coding , anybody have an idea ? thx

I had the same with SWYPE, it was because i installed the Russian Firmeware with their Cyrillic letters. I have reinstalled the china Firmeware, and now it'a ok for me.

What for original files you needed? From witch FW? You must change only the mui or the exe too?

i don't know what to do, it was just an idea !! i suppose there a coding file or registry key to change, it seems that the coding 0 ansi of the russian FW is the cyrillic one and so i have no accent.

Try to reinstall the custom fw without selectionning the codepage 1251.

I have to say that that does not 'realy' work...
without the default codepage the email app still supports only some few accents and no äöüß at all...
(also in some apps cyrillic is still used as font, for example in FTPCE_M8)
They must have done something deeper...

I suspect that eighter the Font was manipulated or somewhere a codepage is selected.
