confirmation sound on headset connect
Hi everybody. I am looking for a way to play a sound that goes along with the "bluetooth headset connected" and "bluetooth headset disconnected" events. That is because I am having problems with my motorola headset sometimes : when it goes to standbye mode after a while, and I want to turn it off, it messes up the connection status with the M8, which informs me that the headset has been disconnected when it should be connected and vice versa.
A confirmation sound would be a nice way out because then I could hear if the disconnection actually worked or not.
I have checked with M8 Sprite, but I could not find an event sound for that. Who can help ?BatMan, the free video converter for Meizu players. Problems ? English First Aid here. Deutsche Erste Hilfe hier.

it's a H500. The headset is supposed to turn off if you press and hold the button until it flashes rapidly, then release. The problem is, when you don't use it for a couple of minutes, it goes into some energy-save mode. If you want to turn it off then, it does not flash rapidly but flashes constantly, which is the pairing mode. After you end the pairing mode, you can turn it off normally, but now the M8 still thinks it is connected.
If you now turn the headset on, M8 says "disconnected", and if you turn it off, it says "connected".
To get rid of that problem, you need to turn the headset off and turn off bluetooth for the M8. Then bluetooth on and then headset on and all is normal again.
But have you ever tried to do that on the highway ? ;-) Also, if you THINK you're connected, but can't answer a call with the headset, it's similar bad while you're driving.
A simple confirmation sound would save a lot of time and nerves.Last edited by BobbyQ; 04-07-2010 at 09:34 AM.
