battery won't recharge - works usb but no show in my computer

Hi I have looked in the threads but was wondering peoples views on this. Battery ran low last night and I didn't have a charger - today the battery won't recharge - I have tried using usb without the battery and it shows on phone with the icon charging but it will not show up in my computer. I have reset the registries and upgraded with the firmware already in the phone via the usb cable, but when I put the battery in it won't charge - I cannot switch on the phone at all. Do you think I need a new battery?

stupid question but: is usb-charge on?

it should be but I can't start phone or get into the disk to check but I usually keep it at that as default

it happen to me once(battery wont charge thru usb on computer). i rule out my battery was broken since it was new and i just charged like 2-3 times.

what i did was i use the usb wall charger and charged my phone. it works. i also heard that some user experiencing this too. they called it battery "lock" or something like that.. after that the battery was "unlocked" and i can charged it thru computer after since. But if u do not have a charger then Im not sure how you can try this.

I don't have a wall usb charger when battery in phone and plugged in, the green light just moves a tiny bit

it has switched on now and appears to be charging = I put the battery in the fridge for a while - don't know if that makes a difference.
