Music, Photos and Videos Dissapeared

hello

i dont really know how or when happen but my music, photos, and videos folder had disappear, bassically everything works fine i can listen music, see photos ive taken and videos, all that on the respective applications but when i go to documents/disk they are not there i cant edit those folders or anything on them i simple cant see them and the sames happen when i try it from my pc everything look just fine except those folder are missing

are they hidden? have you tried to make them visible in windows - folder setting - show all folders? from my point of view they must be there cause you´re able to view pics and stuff...
already tried to reset your phone?

strange. Have you performed a normal reset ?

i already update the firmware to the last FW with a proper clearing of register, did not work, and i already check and they are not invisible, wont i lose all my files if i use factory restore?

i just use the reset but still nothing, i dont want to lose all my files,...., btw i just remember how this happen they dissapear after my antivirus said they were infected, i told it to fix and then my folder went gone

ok then it sounds very logic ?
check your quarantine folder used by the antivirus, but keep in mind that the files are infected...
that is why they got removed..

well, i don't know it but i used to have this like problem. my pc is affected by a certain kind of virus which makes all my folders hidden and produces a kind of folder-like exe. files. If you double click the fake "folders", the real folders can be open but the "exe." has also changes the register of ur pc. if ur pc is affected and u plugged ur M8 by disk mode in it, virus will make all ur folders hidden and produces "folder" exe.s. though these exe. files don't run on M8, it's there and amnoying. antivirus will find and delete those exe. "folders" but won't make hidden folders come out. just make USB mode syn mode and make all hidden folders come out.

Connect your phone to your computer, once you can see the drive letter for you phone under computer or My Computer right click on it then come down to properties. Next, click tools tab. click check now and make sure you have checks in both boxes and let windows check for problems with the physical disk of the phone. Then do a reset of network and format then reflash the phone with the firmware of your choice. start the one before the latest one.

You can also run a rootkit and virus scan if you want. Remember, It's a phone but still a P C.
