Ambient light sensor

the ambient light sensor isnt work for me, when i put my meizu in the light and move my finger over the light sensor, the strenght of the light from my screen doesn't change. I got fw 9.3.8. does this support light sensor?

yes it does!
but did you activate it in the menu?

You can also set the sensitivity
You can play a little with the settings in settings-system-adjust.

And i advice you to install the latest official firmware. (0.9.3.18)
It has a far better camera drives, so your camera can finally take fast pictures under dark environments.

hmm that menu says its only work with incoming calls. i can set it to high, middle and low, but nothing change when i put my meizu in light.

For me the light sensor also only works with calls.
When i get a call and ik put the phone to my ear, the screen goes of like it shoud. and when i want lo look at the screen it goes on like it shoud.

I think thats all the sensor does..
I havn;t seen other funtions of the sensor too
