Hello all
I've got a problem with my m8.
It changes the time automatically, but does this wrong.
Where does it get this settings from? It's very annoying to set the time about 10 times a day!
thanks in advantage.

It does not matter what fW you are on...
Seems to be a fault of the device itself...
I stopped relying on the time long back... it would change to some random time all by itself... could not figure it out... changed the fW's and all, but it still does it ...
Had to buy a watch after a looooonggg... time...just so I can keep time...

Thanked 173 Times in 72 PostsIt's not the device, it's igo that sets a 'new' time

The Meizu M8 is made for china, and the Peking time is a standard, which means GMT+8 (timezone).
Most of us live in Europe or the US, europe has gmt+1 and the US gmt-5/6/7/8.
Igo sets the gmt time it receives, for example, in europe, the device will set gmt +1, so if gmt is 12:30, it is set to 13:30.
Unfortunately the M8 has gmt+8, so you will get 20:30.
But actually, it's 13:30 on your watch, you understand?
What you have to do:
Set your capital city in settings(My capital city is Amsterdam, the Neterlands)
Set the time to gmt+1(if you live in europe...) via controlpanel.Last edited by LVL; 04-27-2010 at 10:02 PM.
