No news about the release date however, but previously he said we have to wait 6 months.

Update 2: This is not M9 as it turns out, just one of the early designs of M8.

Hope the camera will be fine. TV-out is really nice. Like it! (Maybe it`s HDMI?) Sell it at a low price and without to many bugs in Europe and I might get one. Just got a M6 so far...

Would be nice to see that one out on the market, but for now I will stick to the M8 or get a HTC Hero.. I'm starting to get tired of all these jokes about a final fw without bugs. But I have to say, they are very good at entertaining us with new leaks, which I have to say has been very nice. I am certain that the leaks are the reason I haven't bought a Hero yet.

The M8 was their first phone, it's obvious that they encounter A LOT of unforeseen problems. So I believe that the M9 will come out in less than 6 months after the firmware has reached the version number 1.0! I would also hope for an international release this time, but I know that's too much to hope for

Experience isn't something your'e born with! This time they will do things much better!

This is all well and good, but as usual Meizu are late to the party.... Considering that this is already outspeced now by phones like the HTC HD2, the Nexus One and soon to be announced Xperia X3 I can only imagine what is going to be avilable on the market in 6 monthes + time.

No camera flash is a major major mistake IMHO too. I also wish meizu would just not announce stuff unless it's actually any where near being released...

I also heard news that Windows Mobile 7 will be built on Windows CE 7.0 and not CE 6.0 like the M8.

They have 2-year delay, my "old" LG Viewty has a 5 Mp camera, now you see phones with 8 Mp as "standard" and also some 10 Mp and even more... Why Meizu being so "un-impressive"???

The Iphone 3GS uses a 3MP camera, which is not a bad mobile at all
Specs looks nice, but about the same specs were speculated about the M8(GPS, tv-out etc.)
And they did not even complete that task.
I really hope they finish this product soon.
It might sound strange, but it's best for Meizu to lay down the pressure of finishing the M8, and start pushing forward with their M9.
The M8 is pretty useless by now if you look at the specs of it.
The M8 can be beaten by the Iphone, HTC Hero/HD2, Nexus One.
And why the hell won't they hire more developers?
I know it's not easy to create a phone and a stable firmware, but come on, ONE WHOLE year. By that time i could have walked 10 times to china and back to my home.
Ow, and the M8SE is a complete failure, in my opinion.
Why release a second edition if it is outdated?
Start developing a good stable firmware and a up-to-date-phone, or else you are going to get smacked in the face by Samsung, HTC, and all the other smartphones that ARE up-to-date.

But i do love my M8, very very much
But i would buy the M9 if they dropped the M8 for a while.
The M9 has a future, the M8 not at all, let's face it
But at the moment, the M8 is not a bad phone for it's price.

6 months waiting makes sense.. if they stick at the price tag (+- 260 euro..)
By then the hardware price is lots lower then at this moment since it´s getting outdated.

That´s why they can launch a cheap phone with decent specs:-)

Now important thing is ; i hope this time they don´t cut features like tv-out, expansion slot,...

Would love to test the beta model <3

It surely s beaten by these popular phones, but if you look at the price , the Meizu still has a low price for what he gives.

In 6 moths maybe first phones got OLED, would be nice if the M9 in 6 month ( + - 1 year) could have an OLED screen. They get the cpu from Samsung so why not also the screen?
And 1350mAh battery is a bit little I think. if I use the m8 much the battery is getting low quite fast. And with 1 GHz it will be gone even faster. By the way I heard that there will be maybe “bigger” batteries for the m8, anyone knows something about it?
However, I like my M8 very much

That's one way to keep the price down.
