Can't upgrade Meizu M8 (SE?)

I would like a metal back like the M6.
I was disappointed about the M8 having a plastic back.

Built in GPS would be nice

Expendable memory (like microSD)

Windows 7 mobile or android by default as OS

you know that the M9 will get much more pricy with those specs. Your prefered specs are nice, but if Meizu is going to built such a device, it is going to cost around 400-500USD

what I would prefer in addition is a thinner case to the upper and lower edge. In this way the phone appears more thin, but has it's 11mm in the middle. I think I saw this kind of design on the iphone.

metal back, hmmmm... i'm not sure. I like the white plastic and metal makes the thing heavy and it gets dents when falling down. I think it's not easy to have a removeable battery and a metal back cover.

should the M9 be more thick or thin? 150gram is definitely too heavy for a phone. Have you ever helt HTC HD2 in your hands?

The thing I really care about is HSDPA. I did a bit of research and...

HSDPA is part of the UMTS standards since release 5

and WCDMA is just another name for UMTS, so I'm not sure whether it will definitely support it.

Anyone know for sure whether it will support it?

Don't forget multi-boot with meizu os, android and windows 7 ultimate edition.

dont get me wrong but this is getting ridiculous..
you know that meizu is a real company..and not a candy shop..

man i bought a m8 in soochow for 1999 yuan and it was on January 2010 end , they cheated me in giving a meizu m8 old version , when the second edition was on that time for the same price ,,, for notification ( there is no music short cut button on the right side of the phone , i only have volume raise and down on my left side of my phone ,which is present in all m8 phone ) ..... o my god what is this , i cant update my firmware on my m8 ......what is this ..... iam soo sad ...with meizu .

If you dont have a music button you have a M8 SE

If it is truly no SE and you cant update the firmware you might have a fake.

Press the power button and both volume buttons at the same time.

sir i did as u said , but after upgrading is finished , i saw a new screen yesterday night ,and suddenly the screen was black and blank till this morning i dont know what to do.... i think my phone is hanged off , i removed the battery and on it again and again , only i can c meizu on the first and afterwards it is total blank , but the phone is on , but no display is coming ...i dont know what to do any one help me .....plzz...............

download the firmware again (best 0.9.7.1 i think)
and flash your phone again.
if it hangs after that again try to start it and while it starts press 'power' + '(M)' to clear the registry.

A camera in the front for Video-chat would be a very nice feature !

I hope Meizu will release it !

well for the front camera, dunno how meizu would pull that one.. Without UMTS its just gonna work through wi-fi.. And they have to get an app for that. Excuse me if iam wrong but did meizu ever provide any app for the M8 except for the mstore ? Not impossible but hard for a lil company like meizu
