Can't upgrade Meizu M8 (SE?)

I like the current M8/M8SE design, why change that?
Gonna be a lot easier to just copy the design
Earphone at the bottom is not nice, i like it as the M8 has it on the upper part.
The front camera is useless imo.

I pretty much like the design from my post before. Better than the current M8 design.. They should have made it like in the picture

Though the Design would be good last year but now in 2010 we need sth more special.

@tran226: your design was obviously a very early design from 2007, so this would mean they had this design, which is very similar to the current M8, and changed it only slightly.

So we should stick with the patent sketches and can probably ignore this silver phone as much as we can ignore those fan made M9 ideas that pop up from time to time.

well the early design doesn't look very different from the patent thats why i postet it

Wait guys, it turns out this is just one of the early designs of M8. M9's appearance is still unknown.

i was already thinking about the old M8's concept when i saw that picture.
So no design is yet available to see how it looks?

OMG I was so scared that this is going be the new design!! But fortunetly not... shhsshh. that's awful! current m8 design is nice, but they can do better I think. M6 and M3 are beautiful

What does everyone think the hole below the volume buttons is?

I think they are trying to move away from the iPhone design by the looks of it.

it's not the current design from the M8. N2ku said, it is an old m8 design.

Maybe the hole was for sliding the one buttom down to mute the music or to lock all buttoms. But it doesnt matter, because it's not the M9.

No, DP is royalty free. I think Apple was just one of the first to use it. Using HDMI connector on a product is quite expensive because of the royalty fees.

They claim that JW said this on television. they reffer to this link but i can´t open it

Anyway, here are some screenshots. You see J.Wong explaining some tech stuff, then you see the production facility of Meizu. And you can clearly hear the announcer say "Meizu"! :-)

I think once the translation issues are cleared up, that's a wrap. They will blow a hole in market. They had a good production and profit year. I believe this video is several month's old. No wonder they are not looking at there current M8 but the future M's. I hope that remember you need to have a working past to predict a paid future.

I hope the chipset audio will be better than the M8SE!
If the M9 have the same quality sound of M6 it will be the master of phone!!

I don't want to carry this too far off-topic, but what exactly are the differences between M6's and M8SE's audio chips ? M8SE does not feature fancy stuff like 3D processing but I have never used that much on my M6 anyway. For me personally, M6 and M8SE sound similiar if not identically - great !
