need help M8 turn off by it self

Hi i have a problem, my M8 turn off randomly.
it happens when the phone is locked and i cannot turn it on until i remove and put back buttery,also i have notice the buttery drain very fast.
any suggestions?

probably you have to buy a new battery....or reinstall the FW! Your FW schoud not drain the battery fast

Test without Battery ... and u will see what is damaged the phone or the battery.
If there is no problem it is ur battery and u have to buy a new one ....
a battery cost under 10 €uro

edit* buy a powerful battery not the normal one =)

Yesterday i Recharge it to 100%.
today at the morning i unlock it and the battery was 85%.
i locked the phone back.
after 10 minuets am i trying to unlock the Phone and his dead like he go off
and i cannot turn him on until i remove the battery and put it back
turning on the Phone.and the battery only 45%.

..you should try another Firmware: 0939 or 09318.

i installed the FW 0939 and 09318 ad i steal have the same problem.

Are there perhaps some apps running in the background...what does the task manager say?

I don´t know where you checked the task,but that´s strange...´cause, there are always some programs running in the background.
Usually the minioneshell for dekstop,some udevice sms and phone...and some others..I just thought about, perhaps there is an app running that drains your battery...

i think the problem in something else. because when the phone is not in the lock mode it works normally but if i lock the phone it randomly goes off(crash) and i cannot turn it on until i remove the battery and put it back.
after the phone is on the battery is low.
(80%before the crash.45%after turning on)

..how do you lock the phone?..perhaps try another app to lock it,there are several....

I've had the same problem. Install the Maintain software.

Maybe it is the temperature Issue.

could be but does it happen to you out & inside the house?
the device might be broken, it sounds like my old m8..
is it an M8 or SE?

I don´t think that the 1300 battery can do miracles...it all depends how the Firmware is...for ex. in the current new Ui leak my battery is incredible great, in some other leaks it was terrible..the same in old Ui...

like rori says it doesn´t do wonders

some webshops do sell it, not sure if it is original.

my device is the regular m8 no the SE and the battery 1200.
today my m8 make 2 times restart by him self.
i dont know what to do,maybe the voltage of the battery make this restarts.
What is the normal Voltage that suppose to be ?
I checked in the m8 sprite the voltage and the voltage always changes.

Zver26, my M8 first edition had the same symptoms as yours.
It shutdown randomly, drained the battery very fast etc..
I did not know what it was until i noticed 1 day an error just before shutting down...

Long story short; my M8 was broken so i sended it back for repairs and got an SE instead.
