no sim card problem

After updating to new firmware today, system jump at start without asking for PIN and I get a "no sim card" error message.

I tried to downgrade to old official Firmware = the same problem. Now I've been testing about 10 different firmware and I always get the same error message : no sim card. I check the simcard in another phone = all is OK and working

I read in the forum that many people had the same issue.

How did you solve the problem ?

what firmware versions did you use and what version is your M8?

i had the same problem, after 1 week of use, at the evning the phone say no sim and i have tried many times insert and reinsert it but no way. sim card was working on other phone but not M8, i try my girl friend sim card ans it works so i decided to change my sim card ans now it works well For 2 weeks, i don't see any solution for this problem. see ya

Did you already tried to clean the contacts of the phone and the simcard?
Often there is dirt on it.
Or try another simcard from another provider.
Did you tried the simcard in another mobile?
Firmware update/downgrade?

If all that didn't work - try to spray a little bit of contact spray on the contacts.
that helped for me sometimes...

So i will delete all my contacts from my Sim- sadly- over 70 contacts is there any way to save them?
Sim on other mobile worked other sim on M8 didn't work

mh. you can copy all contacts to one phone. then put another simcard into that phone and copy them back to your new simcard. or connect the phone to your computer and manage it in that way....
