Well, we thought it would be released to the Chinese National Holiday, to Christmas, to New Year's Eve...so why not give it a try with the CES?
But I am curious to see the Google-phone!

I for one, will be purchasing the Nexus One asap.

I like my M8, but i would prefer to buy a device that come with a finished OS.

Meizu, for all the great things they have put into the M8, have NEVER fulfilled any of their promises.

I highly doubt there will ever be a finalized OS for the M8, maybe the 3G version will have, but i wouldnt hold my breath.

Too bad, so sad, im getting a googlephone, yay.

M8 kept me occupied in 2009 getting it to work sorting out the bugs.

i think in 2010 i will be getting a phone that works and from a company that lives up to its promises

    ...OS is very, very important
..just imagine Meizu M8, with a stable, finished FW 1.0.

how cool would that be (and still more then 200€ cheaper then the bad reviewed nexus..)

    FW 1.0 to CES Event?
Do not hope on it, in 2008 there wasn´t even a prototype for the m8..
Maybe at Cebit (beginning of march), like in the past?

I don't think meizu are attending CES, I checked the exhibitors list and they weren't on it. I was lucky enough to meet someone the other day who worked for google and got a Nexus One for christmas. I had a quick go and while it is very nice I was suprised at how laggy and jerky the transitions/animations and scrolling was. Compared to the iphone it pales in comparison. Pretty shocking considering its faster cpu and twice the ram.

The engadget review also shows lagginess in the browser compared to the iphone. Other major problems include no multitouch support and a music player app with hardly any codec support and an interface that looks like it's from the 1990's.

If I buy another android phone it will be a customized, probably HTC. Stock android is still missing some key features. These comapanies still have a way to go to match the fluidity and smoothness of the iphone UI though.

I've made up my mind.I'll go for....*drum roll* Google Nexus One! I prefer the Android OS to WM 6.5 and the Google Nexus One is cheaper than the HD2.HTC HD2's selling at $1188 SGD,a lil steep
