Memory upgrade.

I have recently taken delivery of a Meizu M8SE with 8GB of memory. I am told it can be expanded to 16 GB. Is this true and if so, how?

No, that is not true,
The memory is soldered to the phone.

It is soldered to the Mainboard like a processor.

No, unfortunately not! (You could open the device and perhaps exchange the memory card, but nobody did this yet, it needs mezu´s technical skills )

One might try to do it using a heatgun, but you would need good skills or expensive toys to do it.
Buying a 16GB m8 is much cheaper and safer
