How does it work for you? I cannot get it to work... We have no idea about the settings, hopefully they won't be removed from new UI.

when im in camera mode i just press the volume up and it zooms and actually camera settings are not needed since zooming is available ... what it does is that when you dont zoom it takes pictures with the native 3.2 mp resolution when you zoom in once it goes down to 2.0 mp resolution and when you zoom 3x it goes to 1.3 mp resolution and so on so that what the settings in older fw did
although for videos i havent tried it yet
and the environment settings are absent as well

im on the latest leak btw and i have the m8se 8gb without the music button on the side .......

When you guys have first updated and restored your backup from the old UI, did you keep your text messages ? The last time I tried, I got some problems : all my text messages author's name changed into my contact's name instead of leaving "host"... Did it happened to you ? If not, which newUI firmware did you use to restore your old backup ?

Thanks in advance

@mini_yang I think it happened to me too with the first leaked firmware...after that I deleted my old messages and didn't bother trying to fix them.

@Coktail

It's not yet translated by Meizu and doing it by yourself involves some work but can be done... Have a look here: Guide How to translate Apps

I think that this Firmware is shurely better then 9.3.9 official.
Just 1 thing is disturbing me. All my contact numbers begin with +49 ans so on. When this contacts call me there i dont see name but 0049 ... there is also a solution for this?

Thanks

To see a saved contact name when phone rings,go to the phone dialpad/settings/My Number.then in Area Code put YOUR area code and in My Number put your mobile phone number,then save it,reboot,then the next time the phone rings and it is from someone in your contact list,their name will show up so you know who is calling you...it worked for me

Thank you for your reply.

For information, I just tried with the latest firmwares (0.9.6.9 and 0.9.6.12) : there's no longer problem for the display of restored text messages, but now only the text messages dated from before Jan. 18th are recovered T_T

EDIT : I just tried again with the 0.9.6.19 (Feb. 26) and everything is ok =)=)
